    Based on our experience, Afghan sesame seeds have a better aroma and taste, while ohter  sesame seeds have superior clarity.

  2. Oil Yield and Profitability: The sesame seed price plays a crucial role in the cost of oil extraction.

    Afghan sesame typically costs more than others sesame, but the oil yield from Afghan sesame is up to 10% higher. Therefore, when considering the total cost and yield, the final cost may balance out.

  3. Oil Health Benefits: Cold-press oil extraction is crucial for retaining the natural properties of sesame seeds.

    Afghan sesame, which comes from natural, non-GMO seeds, tends to have more beneficial properties compared to other country .

  4. Machine Durability: The type of sesame seed used can significantly impact the wear and tear on the oil extraction equipment.

    Our experience shows that machines using Afghan sesame seeds, especially those that are washed, experience less wear compared to those using other types of sesame.

Additional Information: The majority of Afghan sesame comes from five regions:

  1. Faryab (also known as Maimana)
  2. Mazar-e-Sharif
  3. Kunduz
  4. Herat
  5. Helmand

Note: Roasted and peeled sesame seeds are not suitable for oil extraction.

Conclusion: In our opinion, Afghan sesame, specifically double-washed sesame, is currently the best option available in the market for oil extraction.
